A new type of knowledge panel is introduced by google specially dedicated to publishers. Above-the-fold section of search results is entirely filled with the info relation to the publication. If you search any publisher by its name, it will result a new knowledge panel which feature the following information about the publication:
- Publication description
- Wiki link
- Awards won
- Frequently covered topics sample
- Third party reviewed claims made by publisher
Google says you can expect updates in future in the panel as they will continue to improve and refine it.
